This piece came from our three-piece collection which was obtained from HeBei region of China. Gilded statues are often signs of that the piece came from a temple, the golden paint would have been re-applied on a regular basis to show respect to the Buddha. The Chinese Buddhists believed Buddha and his deciphers often wear golden leaved clothing. Shipping weight: 45 lbs.
