Medicine Buddha is Buddha Gautama, who often called himself the healer of suffering inthe world, and Dharma was the medicine. Japanese people favored Medicine Buddha over other types of Buddha and often built shrine to worship this healer. Excellent piece for garden or home. Perfect for outdoor setting or indoor decor. This sitting Guan Yin, an Avalokitesvara in Lalita Asana is carefully carved with intricate details. The Lalita Asana is a pose of ease-one leg pendant and is resting on a lotus pedal.
