This is a People's Republic of China's Navy hat which was very popular during the Cultural Revolution worn most by the Chinese government officials. Also very popular with Mao Ze Dong, sometimes called the Chinese bureaucrat's hat, this is a hat worn mostly by people of importance during the Cultural Revolution era. Standard military issued size, one size fits all. Inseam is 8" diameter.

Titled "For revolution, implement later-marriage and birth control, this famous poster features an even more famous slogan of that era. A sure sign that this was from the late 70s as opposed to the 80s was the fact the poster was created by Shanxi Revolutionary Committee, Birth Control subcommittee. The revolutionary committees are a byproduct of the Cultural Revolution and since died down post the ending of the Cultural Revolution in mid to late 70s.
