| A political propaganda poster, this image depicts a young Mao and his formal wife YangKaiHui titled "War Comrades". Just before the end of Cultural Revolution, JiangQing, Madam Mao, also Mao's last wife, who was later sentenced to life imprisonment and called "the White Ghost), as a key member of "Gang of Four" was captured. To disassociate Jing and the beloved Mao, at the time, the Central government decided to issue posters depicting Mao's relationship with one of his formal wives, named YangKaiHui. Yang fought the civil war with Mao in the 20s and was killed by the Nationalist Party in Changshan, LiuzhengQiao area in the late 20s. Unbeknown to most people , she bore three sons, Son # 1 Mao Han Ying, died at Korean War, Son # 2 Mao Han Qing, became mentally ill due to tortures he was put through, as JiangQing was afraid of his blood ties with Mao, Son # 3, Mao Han Long, disappeared in the 30's during civil war and still to this date no one knows his whereabouts. Madam Mao, JiangQing, bore one daughter named Li Na, currently a highly ranked Chinese People's Liberation Army official. Published by People's Publishing house, printed by Bejing People Printing Company, distributed by Beijing XinHua Bookstore. This poster was printed in July 1977, price of the poster was 14 cents.
