| This Cultural Revolution Statue features a Peking Opera character "Ke Xiang". In a somewhat theatrical pose, she is holding a red army towel, while wearing a pistol across her shoulder. Her shoes are what was referred as the "straw shoes," worn often by the red army soldiers due to the shortage of actual shoes during the early war against the nationalist.
