First Edition 3 Volume "The pinnacle of the socialism"
Titled “The pinnacle of the socialism in Chinese Rural Side”, these rare three volume books was developed by Chinese Communist Party Central Office in 1956 in Beijing. Owned by Jia Shu Ying, It was printed using the traditional Chinese character format, and read from right to left, and the sentences were vertically displayed in the old fashioned manner. A rare first edition, it was published in January 1956, amidst the Hundred Flowers Campaign, part of Three Flags campaign, which the Great Leap Forward. Written by Mao, this lengthy book talks about the collectivization in the Chinese rural side and was meant to be a guideline for officials in the rural level on implementing Central Chinese Communist Party’s directions. Noted in the publishing notes, the three volume books were printed in four different cities, and the print run for this one, which was printed in Beijing was 280,000. 3.00 Yuan.
