| This personal 1960s notebook has detailed notes of political study materials which involved class struggle and the analysis of Chinese society using Communist party guidelines. Notes taken using Chinese calligraphy brush. Title of the red covered notebook "Looking up to the model workers", an award given to model workers who usually are considered elite working class people who have the "right" attitude and worked selflessly for the party. In addition to detailed Chinese Communist Party directives, other information included farming / propagation techniques. This is likely a notebook belonged to a send down youth who worked side by side with the farmers during the Cultural Revolution. 5" x 7". | ||
