| This notebook was given to the person by the name of Cheng Hua from a person by the name of Wang Lian Qi on July 2nd, 1964. The cover of the notebook says "Butterfly", and inside there were a few printed image of sail boats, and photos of the Shanghai Yu Yuan, a park that used to be used by the Emperors of China. In addition to notes taken on the engineering classes, towards the back of the book it has an unfinished personal diary about the person's love for someone, along with poems this person copied. A glimpse into a Chinese person living under the Chinese Communist government, isolated from the outside international world, in the 1960s. | ||
