Chinese propaganda poster - Serve the people politely
As China completes the transition from the Cultural Revolution, the government looked at ways to improve people's overall mannerism. In this campaign, the service sectors were examined and encouraged to serve the people with politeness and courtesy. Titled "Polite, Courteous, Warmly Serve the customer", this famous image shows a smiling restaurant waitress, holding a cake that says "Happiness". On the bottom of the poster it says "Develop Socialism New Customs". Shanghai People's Art Publishing House. 1982. 255,000 copies. 0.16 Yuan.
